Travel

Subway: There is a 57th Street subway stop on the Yellow NQRW line in front of the building http://www.mta.info/nyct/maps/submap.htm. If you want to purchase a map, get Streetwise Manhattan http://www.streetwisemaps.com/city-map/manhattan-map.html; most paper/magazine stores have it, too.

Air: If you are flying to New York City, we recommend LaGuardia Airport (LGA) http://www.panynj.gov/CommutingTravel/airports/html/laguardia.html.  Further away, but not prohibitively so, are Newark Airport (EWR) http://www.panynj.gov/CommutingTravel/airports/html/newarkliberty.html

Kennedy Airport (JFK) http://www.panynj.gov/CommutingTravel/airports/html/kennedy.html

Car Services: The least expensive and most reliable car services from the airports are (212) 777-7777 https://www.dial7.com/reservation.asp and (212) 666-6666 http://www.carmellimo.com. (Make reservations, and they are usually less expensive than a taxi.)
